Modern meets traditional

The roots of the Delas Frères winery date back to 1835. Formerly a French family business, it is now a subsidiary of Deutz Champagne. Located in the heart of the village of Tain-I'Hermitage, France, the winery produces, presents, and sells wine on-site. The premium wines are cultivated on a 75-acre vineyard on the banks of the Rhône River. The estate features a historical manor adjacent to a modern structure, creating an interesting juxtaposition of old versus new. BEGA luminaires set the scene for the buildings, both indoors and out.

Our Products

Described as an architectural marvel, the new structure designed by architect Carl Fredrik Svenstedt is distinctive and eye-catching. BEGA in-ground luminaires highlight all 260-feet of the pleated stone façade. Inside the new building is where most of the magic happens; visitors are invited to take a closer look at the product and the production process. BEGA surface-mounted ceiling luminaires and floodlights provide comfortable illumination throughout the interior. The production tour ends at the rooftop terrace that offers an expansive view of the surrounding vineyards.

Our Products

The adjoining historical manor embodies the tradition of the winery. It offers guests all the amenities of modern meeting rooms and accommodations. The cellar houses the winery’s prestigious wine collection, which dates back 185 years. Built in the 19th century, the manor provides a contrast to the modern materials used in the new structure – stone, glass, and steel.
