LEED Gold Certified high-rise tower
One La Jolla Center is situated in a prominent location within San Diego’s planned live, work and play community. With easy access to major freeways and views of the surrounding mountains, this 15 story high-rise is an important addition for businesses in the area. The LEED Gold project was completed in 2015 with a total of 360,000 sq. ft. gross area. Floor to ceiling glazing provides ample daylight for interior spaces and creates an impressive looking facade. On-site amenities include a fitness center, cafe, and shaded outdoor work stations with WIFI accessibility.
BEGA Light Building Elements provide structure throughout the expansive courtyard during the day, and create interesting patterns of light on the walkways by night. These tall, rectangular architectural elements perfectly complement the finishes and geometry used throughout the project.
Additional pathways are lined by BEGA bollards with an asymmetric distribution that fits well into the rhythm of light present in the courtyard. High light output from these luminaires enables wide spacing between fixtures. BEGA recessed wall luminaires with a faceplate design that complements the chosen bollards are used to illuminate exterior stairways.
