Bringing education to light
EF Education First is a national organization dedicated to improving public education by delivering solutions, so all students are prepared for success in college and their career paths. HGA Architects & Engineers and design architect Wingårdhs collaborated on this LEED Silver certified project located just outside of Boston, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The 11-story building offers panoramic views of the Boston skyline and features a variety of spaces including offices, meeting areas, a restaurant, a salon, and a three-level above-grade parking garage. The highlight of the design is the 10-story atrium, which is constructed out of a unique, geometric façade of glass.
The modern headquarters design required timeless, innovative lighting for the outdoor spaces: a job fit only for BEGA luminaires. BEGA light building elements decorate the courtyard and create enchanting distributions of light. Matching bollards line pathways around the campus and create a cohesive lighting effect.
