A new approach to recessed wall luminaires

With a refined look, increased light output, and contractor friendly enhancements for ease of installation and quality assurance, BEGA’s unwavering commitment to quality above all permeates everything about this new approach to recessed wall luminaires. New product families in round, square and rectangular form factors all feature multiple light distributions and are available in many size and wattage combinations.

Ease of Installation

BEGA’s newest recessed wall luminaires now come in two pieces rather than three. A separate back housing may be installed in a wide variety of wall construction types. Wire connections are then made in the back housing, and the complete luminaire is sealed into place with two screws.

Internal components of these luminaires are accessible for maintenance if necessary, but the sealed luminaire enables a quicker and more simple installation.

Incredible surface washing distribution

A new product family for BEGA, our asymmetric forward throw recessed wall luminaires were optically designed to wash a ground plane with light from very low mounting heights. With a similar effect to that of a ceiling mounted wall washing luminaire, this product family achieves similar lighting on the ground, with the durability required of exterior recessed luminaires.

This light distribution is ideal for open spaces, such as large plazas or wide walkways, where even illumination and unobstructed pathways are desired.

Unshielded

Unshielded luminaires create a guiding light effect. All styles available in two wattage options - high output, or to be used as location markers.

Shielded

Shielded luminaires are ideal for glare-free ground illumination. Ideal for illuminating stairs or footpaths.

Asymmetric

Asymmetric distributions efficiently direct light across a ground plane. Ideal for illuminating building entrances, stairways and pathways.

Asymmetric Widespread

Asymmetric widespread distributions evenly illuminate a ground plane from increased fixture spacings. Ideal for illuminating corridors and pathways.

Asymmetric Forward Throw

The specially designed optics of these luminaires allow for superior illumination of ground surfaces at an extremely low mounting height.

Recessed Wall luminaires provide a clean, uncluttered design, and are a great choice for high-traffic areas such as building entrances, stairways, and corridors. In June of 2019, BEGA launched a new approach to recessed wall design in our rectangle family of fittings. Now available in square and round, in effect the entire range, BEGA’s newest recessed wall luminaires now come in two pieces rather than three, giving the design community many more choices while eliminating the possibility of most installation errors.
