Committed to social responsibility and minimizing our impact on the environment over time, BEGA takes a balanced approach to people and the planet. In service of this mission critical promise, we are pleased to announce the recent completion of a comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and the publication of our first ten Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
Extensive Testing
In partnership with Sustainable Solutions Corporation, BEGA collected site and product specific data for luminaire products manufactured at our Carpinteria, CA and Broomfield, CO facilities. The results of the life cycle analysis enabled our team to better understand the environmental hotspots of our luminaire products.
The LCA served as an input for the publication of ten Type III Product Specific EPDs with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). The ten EPDs cover 36 BEGA products in total.

For each of the product segments listed below, a single EPD is available which applies to multiple products within the segment. Specific product numbers included in each EPD are listed below the product segment as well as on the EPD cover page.
